Zdrelo Spa is in the municipality Petrovats on Mlava, towards Zagubitsa, at an altitude of between 160 and 240m. It is surrounded on two sides by Homolyske mountains, by its two peaks: Big and Small Vukan. It got the name Zdrelo because it is on the very entrance to Gornyacka gorge. It is 9km away from Petrovats on Mlava, 80km from the Silver lake, and 130km from Belgrade. You should leave the highway near Pozarevats, and continue on the motorway towards Petrovats on Mlava.

In Zdrelo Spa, climate is moderate continental. Its thermal waters have a constant temperature of about 40°C throughout the year. That is why the pools in the Spa are used all the 12 months in the year. Within the pools complex there is a salon for massage, saune, jaccuzzi. There are also small pools with underwater massage, massage tubs. All the bathing places use thermomineral water. Due to small capacities, visitors usually come to the Spa to spend a weekend.

Banja Zdrelo monasteries, churches, cultural and historical monuments

Close to Zdrelo Spa, there are important cultural and historic monuments of the Homolyi region, as well as monasteries. The monastery Gornyak, built at the end of the 14th century is well known, famous for a hermit from Pech. The monastery is an endowment of the count Lazar Hrebelyanovich. In the proximity are the remnants of medieval churches Mitropolia, Reskovitsa, Announciation, and the monastery Vitovnitsa. On both banks of the river Mlava are the remnants of the medieval town Zdrelo. You can see the remnants of its walls and towers.
